By accessing or using HomeMinder, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

HomeMinder is a home maintenance management application that helps you:

• Track and schedule home maintenance tasks
• Manage multiple properties
• Receive reminders for upcoming tasks
• Store photos and documentation (Pro)
• Share property management with family members (Pro)
• Track maintenance costs and generate reports (Pro)

3. Account Registration

To use HomeMinder, you may create an account using:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• Guest mode (limited features, no data sync)

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Subscription and Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use HomeMinder for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Overload or disrupt our services
• Resell or redistribute the service

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (tasks, photos, notes). By uploading content, you grant us a license to store and display it to provide the service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

HomeMinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will meet all your requirements
• The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Task reminders will prevent property damage or issues

HomeMinder is a reminder tool, not a substitute for professional home inspection or maintenance services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeMinder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
